Ski Knee Pads · Breathability · Medium Breathability

Is medium breathability good enough for ski knee pads, or do I need high breathability?

Medium breathability is the sweet spot for most skiers. These knee pads use a mix of mesh panels and moisture-wicking fabrics that let heat and sweat escape without letting too much cold air in. They're ideal for all-mountain skiing where conditions vary throughout the day.

The main trade-off is that medium-breathable pads can feel a bit warm during spring skiing or on high-output days like hike-to terrain. But for typical resort skiing in normal winter conditions, they strike a great balance between ventilation and warmth.

If you ski mostly in cold climates or wear your pads under layers, medium breathability is usually the smarter choice over high breathability, which can feel drafty on frigid days. Save high breathability for warm spring conditions or if you naturally run hot.
