Can I wear low-profile knee pads under tight race pants?
While they are designed to be worn under layers, tight race pants may still show the outline of the pad. More importantly, race training requires hard shells and CE certification that stealth pads do not provide.

Most low-profile pads use highly breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics. However, any pad worn against the skin will retain some heat. Look for models with mesh panels behind the knee for maximum ventilation.

Yes, non-Newtonian materials are highly effective at absorbing energy in thin profiles. They remain flexible for comfort but lock together upon impact to dissipate force. However, they can still 'bottom out' in extremely high-speed crashes where a thicker pad would be needed.
